I began my real estate career helping investors, like you, buy, sell and rent investment properties in 1991. During that time, I have helped several folks purchase, flip and rent properties, as well as placing some properties in my own portfolio.

To ensure that I had a good grasp of property values:

I became a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser as well as a licensed Real Estate Agent and Realtor. These credentials provide me access to tools that many other agents do not have at their disposal, and the knowledge to use them correctly. Allowing me to provide you the benefit of knowing the costs and return that you may receive prior to entering into an agreement to buy, sell or rent an investment property. That does not mean to say that there will never be surprises, (boy could I tell you some stories) we both know there will be some things we did not account for. It is here that I can offer you the most value and help minimize those downside risks.

You may want to know a little about me:

I retired from the US Navy as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer. Having been enlisted, Warrant Officer and then retired as a Limited Duty Officer (LDO). My wife, Mary, and I have been married to each other of over 42 years. We have two grown children who graduated from the Virginia Beach School System. In my spare time I am a Fastpitch Softball Coach for a very good girl's 18U travel team (if you ask me about this be prepared to spend more than a few minutes discussing the team and softball).

But back to Real Estate, some of my designations are:
